Billboard Discoveries says Courtney Yovich is “one of those kids whose musical prowess started shining through before her permanent teeth did!” At age 14, Courtney has already won several songwriting contests (the first one at age 8), including a Top 20 finish in last year’s CMT/NSAI Song Contest. Though few people would describe her as ‘Country’, she competed for and won a coveted spot at Country Throwdown’s Bluebird Stage last year in Salt Lake City. Speaking of Bluebirds, reservations for Courtney’s recent debut at Nashville’s famous Bluebird Café sold out in just a few hours. Courtney will have a few pre-release copies of her new CD, produced by Kent Wells (Dolly Parton) and CJ Watson, available at the festival.
