Three of Nicholson’s Norris-penned-and-produced songs appear in the upcoming movie “Off the Boulevard”, featuring Eddie Vedder, Joe Mantegna and Peter Fonda. His song ’Carousel’ (recorded by Sparkle Jet) appears on the ’Addictions’ compilation CD, alongside heavy hitters James Taylor and Joe Walsh. He’s opened for acts from Patty Loveless, Dwight Yoakum, Kathy Mattea and Tracy Byrd to Warrant, LA Guns and Jane’s Addiction and run sound for Aerosmith, Linda Ronstadt, Yes, Los Lobos, Def Leppard and Stevie Ray Vaughn. He’s also written music for Sony Playstation, Microsoft X-box, and Nintendo Game Cube and snagged a coveted the Gamers’ Choice Award for Most Infectious Soundtrack for his work on the ‘Freaky Flyers‘ videogame.
