Having been raised by music-loving parents, Dennis lived and breathed the music of his youth from the radio, 45’s and albums. Seventh grade found him in London as the Beatles reached their creative peek which was an amazing inspiration to Dennis. When Dennis moved to New Orleans, he gravitated into the world of acoustic guitars, finger-picking songs from Donovan to James Taylor. Pensacola became his home in 1971 where he began playing professionally in a number of top bands Wildwood, Café Racer, RPM, The Cadillacs, and more. RPM opened for the band Survivor at the Pensacola Civic Center. Dennis pursued the craft of songwriting with passion, and performed one of his original songs at the Opry on the “Star Search” television show. Dennis met acclaimed Songwriter/Publisher, Dennis Morgan, and was invited to Nashville to record a CD of his own songs. Produced by Morgan, the CD is entitled “GO.” Dennis has played for many of the annual “Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festivals” and recently played at the “Bluebird” in Nashville and has been performing with Scenic Heights in Franklin, TN. Dennis is a multi-instrumentalist who plays the harmonica, guitars, bass and has a smooth vocal style for lead vocals and an excellent ear for harmonies.
