Greg Barnhill’s music crosses all boundaries and genres. He is a Grammy-nominated, three-time Emmy nominated and one-time Emmy winner, as well as a multi-award winning songwriter, A-list vocalist and top-notch producer.

Originally from New Orleans, Greg has been writing and performing his whole life. His songs have been embraced by artists from Etta James to Martina McBride and Jessica Simpson to Chicago and Tim McGraw to Lee Ann Womack and Leona Lewis. “Walk away Joe,” recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Don Henley, was a significant milestone in his career when it was nominated for a Grammy. Greg also had a huge crossover smash with “House of Love” for Amy Grant and Vince Gill.  Other hit songs include “Same Ol Love,” “99.9% Sure, I’ve Never Been Here Before,” “She’s Takin’ A Shine” and “Never Been Kissed.”

Greg has also recorded, written, and produced a number of TV themes and jingles. In 2007, Greg earned an Emmy nomination for his song, “It’s A New Day” for The Today Show.  His songs have aired on CNN,” Fox and Friends,  The View, Baywatch, Growing Pains, Murphy Brown, and for many national and regional sports teams, businesses and television programs.  In 2010, Greg was nominated for his third Emmy (which he won) in the Best Original Song category for the Today Show theme, “Your Day Is Today.”  This year, you can hear his song, “I Know Who I Am,” recorded by Leona Lewis for Tyler Perry’s latest movie, For Colored Girls.
