Raised in Meridian, Ms, and moved to Nashville, Tn. in 1982. Through the eighties and nineties he found success as a writer with artist Gene Watson, Ed Bruce, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton with Bobby Whitlock, Eloise Laws along with numerous overseas artist, Alain Morisod and Sweet People, Paul Daraiche to name a few.  His recent success “I Found Someone” Dorothy Moore and the schedule release of “Belly Full Of Blues” Catbone Records that includes two songs off his  CD “Can You Still Rocks”. Jim as an Artist/Songwriter says this release has been the highlight of his career. Other artist on “Belly Full Of Blues”, include the legendary John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and James Cotton. Now semi retired and currently living in Evergreen, Al. and is the co-founder of “The Pensacola Beach Song Writers Festival.”
