John Edd is a native of Mobile, Alabama.. For 40 years John Edd was the face of TV weather along the Gulf coast. He worked in several movies that were filmed in Mobile including “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” His interest are songwriting and golf. He has had cuts by Jeanne Pruitt, Kelli Deanne, Tammy Vice and others. His co writing partners have been Hal Newman, Jerry Powell, Keith Glass, Larry W. Johnson and Steven Lee Veal. Recently he has worked with Powell and Glass as a songwriting trio.
