In 1996, John Nanni moved from Pensacola FL to Franklin TN where he established Three Creeks Music-a Music Production, Publishing, and Distribution Company. From his Nashville base, John focuses on all three creeks of his business: Producing local artists and instrumental music; Writing, recording and pitching songs from his catalog to film, TV and Music Row; and the Development of digital distribution of music world-wide.
In 2011, John has been extremely busy producing a variety of projects. He recently completed an EP by Guitar Aficionado/Singer/Songwriter, Don Holmes called “Acoustic Night.” Don’s songs are getting attention from some of Nashville’s top-shelf producers. John co-produced “A Ukulele Christmas” by Lucas P. Gravell. Lucas, a multi-instrumentalist who is lately on fire with the ukulele, is widely known for his Jimmy Buffet recording “Reggae Accident.” John is in the process of finishing a powerful album with ambient rocker, Adrian Hall. John is also producing Mindy Johnson, an exciting contemporary Christian artist who is working on her sophomore project. If all that were not enough, Nanni has just put the shrink wrap on his new 11-song CD project, “What’s Not to Love?”, an upbeat and positive, pop rock collection.
John is constantly writing new material. He and his talented cowriters, Nathan Jackson and Karin Paparelli have a new song called “Matters Most” that has found a home in the upcoming independent film, THE BOARDER. Also, John and songwriter Darren Long have a cut on the new Wes Woodard country project.
John has recently been stretching his live music chops playing the keyboard with The Gary Talley Band. The group performs songs that were originally performed by Gary in his Grammy nominated group, The Box Tops, as well as other classic R&B covers, many of which Gary played with the original artists such as Billy Preston.
When he is not in the studio, John enjoys quality time with his wife, three children and two grandsons. He walks nine holes of golf a couple times a week, and enjoys being by the lake or the Gulf Coast whenever he has the opportunity.
