Louis “Cowboy” Johnson singer/songwriter, formerly from Austin, Texas and new resident of Alabama’s Gulf Coast, has played venues from California to the east coast and most states in between. His 2005 Tribute CD of Mickey Newbury songs, “A Grain of Sand” ,earned him an invite to Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic and warmed his way into the hearts of the Newbury family as well as Newbury fans worldwide.
