Richard Fagan’s first cut was “The Good Lord Loves You” by Neil Diamond in 1980. Five years later, he moved to Nashville where he found songwriting success. He’s had songs in six feature films and on numerous million-selling albums.

Three of Rich’s songs have hit No. 1 on the country charts, all by artist John Michael Montgomery: “Be My Baby Tonight,” “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” and “I Miss You A Little.” He’s also had six top-10 country hits and 18 charted country singles. Among the artists who have recorded Rich’s songs are George Strait, George Jones, Collin Raye, Hank Williams Jr., Shania Twain, Clay Walker, Patty Loveless, Collin Raye, Ricochet, Neil Diamond, John Michael Montgomery, Shenandoah, the Crickets, Jason & the Scorchers, and the Blues Brothers Band. He also has been a performer both as a solo artist and as part of the group Phillybilly.
