Tim started playing the drums at the tender age of eight “Even eight year old chicks dig the drummer”. Then at fourteen he found “It was hard to write songs on the drums” so he began to learn the guitar. After graduating high school “thank God” he began playing drums in various
country/rock bands. After twelve years of playing every nightclub from Florida to Pennsylvania he left the road and moved to Nashville to become a songwriter.

Since the move in July of 91’ Tim has not only become a successful songwriter but he has become one of Nashville’s most sought after singers. In addition to singing demos for every writer in town he has sung on albums for: Trisha Yearwood, Michael Peterson, Paul Brandt, Anita Cochran and Kevin Sharp, Meredith Edwards to name a few and on jingles for: Pepsi, Luvs diapers, TNN and many more.

As a songwriter Tim has had cuts by: Trisha Yearwood, The Wiggins, Continental Divide, Marty Haden, Perfect Stranger, the hit single by YANKEE GREY called “ ANOTHER NINE MINUTES and a #1 single by Kevin Sharp “SHE’S SURE TAKING IT WELL” which was the #5 song of 1997 according to R&R magazine and is included in ASCAP’s top 50 songs of the 90’s.

Tim is also a regular performer at many of Nashville’s songwriter nights such as “The Blue Bird Café, Douglas Corner and many others as well as The Tin Pan South and Frank Brown songwriter festivals. In 2000 he started trying to help teach other songwriters through The Nashville Songwriter’s Association International’s regional workshop program. Traveling to many cities all over the country about once a month to perform and help aspiring songwriters in their pursuit of “The Hit” song. Tim is a mentor and regular guest speaker for many other of NSAI’s programs and workshops.
