Orenstein, Ross 2

ROSS ORENSTEIN

Award-winning children’s songwriter Ross Orenstein started his children’s songwriting career licensed by the National Crime Prevention Council to write music for McGruff the Crime Dog. He followed that up by creating his own character, the Safety Ape. The Safety Ape was licensed by Liberty Mutual Insurance for a Radio Disney Tour to teach children important safety messages using music as the messenger. Ross produced a puppet production on reading and literacy for Coca-Cola and Reading is Fundamental (RIF) for their Story Traveler Tour featuring his original music. He produced a children’s show featuring Eco the Butterfly and The Eco Team puppets as a partner in Music as Message. The pilot episode aired on WSRE/PBS on Earth Day 2018.The “Be a Green Hero” spinoff short film won best score music short at Show Low Film Festival in 2022.  Ross has written over 600 songs for the non-profit Songs of Love Foundation and released his “RossO’s Happy Songs for Kids” album on YouTube and all streaming media. He is now writing songs for the Sing Me a Story Foundation. “Waiting to be a Waitress,” a musical comedy that he wrote the music and lyrics for, premiered in Pensacola to sold-out crowds in August 2023 and raised $30,000 for Gulf Coast Kids House. Ross serves on the Board of Directors of the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival and coordinates the school visits.

JOSH MILLER

Josh Miller, affectionately known as “MILLER,” is a talented musician hailing from the charming town of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Now thriving along the vibrant Gulf Coast, MILLER’s musical journey began in the humblest of settings. Working on the farm alongside his father, he found inspiration in the melodies that filled the airwaves of the 90s. From the folkish sounds to southern rock and traditional country, MILLER would sing along in his trusty Ford truck, dreaming of a future in music. His musical adventure took root at riverside bonfires, where he and his buddies, including a friend who played “Cotton Eyed Joe,” would gather. The sounds of Alabama, Hank Williams, and other legends blared from the speakers, creating unforgettable moments of camaraderie and support for MILLER’S singing. Encouraged by these experiences, he eventually made his way to the heart of Nashville’s music scene. In 2019, a significant move to the Gulf Coast marked a new chapter in MILLER’S career. Immersed in a music scene that echoes his Nashville roots, he actively participates in the local music community. From playing writer nights to performing cover songs at popular coastal venues, MILLER’s presence is felt throughout the region. He is also deeply involved in the Pensacola Beach Songwriter Festival, contributing both as a volunteer and a performer each year. Currently, MILLER is in the studio, pouring his passion and unique blend of country and coastal influences into an upcoming EP. He released his first Single “Hay Girl” in May 2025. With a heart full of dedication, his main goal is to create the best unique experience for his listeners, whether it’s live or on the airwaves. MILLER’s journey is a testament to the power of dreams, hard work, and the unwavering support of friends and family.

BRIGITTE LONDON

Brigitte has released 10 albums and recorded on projects that included legends like Jerry Reed, Porter Wagoner, Marty Stuart, and more. After Waylon Jenning’s passing, his longtime producer and legendary drummer, Richie Albright, became her producer, mentor, and bandleader for several years. Brigitte’s powerhouse vocals and heartfelt lyrics mix country, soul, and blues, and with her ability to connect right to the soul, she has impacted audiences across the country.

In pursuit of fueling Independent Artists, Brigitte has launched and produced several music series, festivals, and events (including Spirit of The Outlaws, Last Honky Tonk Music Series, Songs on the Bayou), co-founded Outlaw Magazine, and hosted/produced multiple radio shows, including her current show, “The High Road With Brigitte London”, syndicated in eight countries. She was also featured on the Discovery Channel’s Killing Fields season two, performing her song “She’s in the Bayou”.

Brigitte believes in the art of poetry and the transcendent healing power of music, and loves to discover new ways to experience the joy of this with others.

GOLDIE LAHR

Goldie Lahr is a singer/songwriter and full-time musician based in Pensacola, FL. Her heart is providing comfort and entertainment through singing. She grew up near Ft Worth, Texas, and spent many years in Central Oklahoma. She often travels the US singing and sharing her songs at music festivals and events. Goldie loves writing about the places she’s been and people’s connection to their “home,” wherever that may be. Along with writing for ‘herself,’ she also enjoys writing and composing for other songwriters, bands, and film scores.

TEEA GOANS

This Nashville-based singer spent the past ten years performing around the country, making numerous appearances on the Grand Ole Opry while also appearing nationally on radio and TV. But in 2020, when the world shut down, songwriting became a therapeutic outlet and ultimately changed her life.  Teea self-released her very first, all-original album, “All Over The Map”, in 2021, featuring co-writes with some of Music City’s most highly regarded songwriters, Jim “Moose” Brown, Don Sampson, and James LeBlanc.

TANYA GALLAGHER

Southern songstress Tanya Gallagher is a modern-day troubadour. Born and raised near the Florida-Alabama line, she spent her formative years quietly making waves along the Gulf Coast with her thoughtful musicality and elegant stage presence. With a husky voice, an acoustic guitar, and a gift for crafting tender, quirky folk songs, Gallagher has spent the last decade touring around the US and Canada, sharing her songs with anyone who will listen.

BILLY DROZE

Singer, songwriter, and record label owner Billy Droze was programmed to do music the minute he arrived on earth in Alabama. Droze has secured his spot on the bluegrass music circuit, cementing timeless hits of gospel, Americana,  country, and roots music with multiple Grammy nomination recommendations. As a prolific songwriter, major artists have cut his songs. Such as “You Never Know” –Darryl Worley, “Free Again”  – Shenandoah, “That’s Why I Run” – Billy Yates (#1 in Europe), “Sunday Clothes” – Randy Kohrs,” Big Pain” -Marty Raybon, “Bottle Was a Bible” – Junior Sisk, “Her Memory Again” (#5 Bluegrass Today Chart) – Flatt Lonesome, “Like I Do” – Jamie O’Neil, “I Know Better” (#1 Bluegrass Today Chart) – The Grascals, among others. Droze and his band, Kentucky Blue, travel the country performing at bluegrass festivals everywhere.

To date, Billy has garnered eleven #1 radio singles. Droze is the reigning Inspirational Bluegrass Music Artist of the Year, an award from the Inspirational Country Music Association. Together with bluegrass superstar Rhonda Vincent, he hosted the 2018 ICMA Awards at the historic Grand Ole Opry House. Billy Droze is surely one of the fastest rising stars in bluegrass music.

GREG CROWE

Raised in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, Greg Crowe brings a compelling blend of blues, rock, and country to Music City. Crowe is an award-winning songwriter; credits include artists Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Kershaw, Adam Gregory, Will Hoge, Chuck Mead, Lonestar, and, most recently, with Trace Adkins. His writing, production skills have also been put to use in many television commercials and Independent artists’ projects as well. Crowe is an SESAC-affiliated writer/publisher who has been living in Nashville for the past 32 years.

STACY CLEARMAN

Stacy Clearman is one of our local songwriters who serves on our festival team. He is a local full-time businessman & volunteer minister who loves being part of songwriting communities.

He’s been as close as you can get behind the scenes to getting some cuts, but hasn’t had that big break just yet. But he doesn’t write songs for that purpose; it’s something he truly loves doing daily, almost like therapy.
Stacy says, “There’s nothing more thrilling than trying to solve the riddle of pulling a melody, chord, riff, beat, and/or lyric from thin air…and turning it into something organized that can be heard thousands of times at the same time.”
While being more of an Americana artist & sound of his own, as a songwriter, he writes across various landscapes & imagines other people & styles singing his songs, even before writing them. You can follow along with his songwriting journey on socials @stacyclearman.
He also had the joy of touring full-time in his early 20s with his band & jokes that he’s glad the internet & social media didn’t exist yet, because there’s very little proof of any of it, & that’s a good thing.
But most importantly, he is proud to be the dad of Rachel Clearman, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter, also performing for her 3rd year in the festival. They may even share a set!

PEARL CLARKIN

Pearl Clarkin grew up right here on the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach in the local landmark The Spaceship House. She began performing at live music venues at the age of 12 in her hometown of Pensacola. Her single “Girls of Summer ” hit country radio and charted in the top 50 on the Country Breakout Chart. Pearl has opened for many big names, ranging from Charlie Daniels to Michael Ray. Big Machine Label Group named Pearl one of the top 10 unsigned artists in the country, as she represented Pensacola in the Nash Next Nationwide competition. Her song “Military Man” reached over 61 Million people through social media in 2025 alone and is considered one of the most viral patriotic songs on Tik Tok. Her latest project “Pistol Pearl” quickly racked up over 1 Million streams on Spotify with only the first three songs which have all gone viral. People love her songs, be sure to come see her sing them in person.
