DANA HUNT BLACK

A North Carolina native, Dana began her journey as a songwriter in Nashville in 1993. She has had songs recorded by George Strait, like “Check Yes or No”, and “Write This down” , as well as nine album cuts on George, including “I Know What I Want For Christmas” which was co-written with her husband (Nashville Hall of fame songwriter) Charlie Black. She’s written other hits, including Gary Allan’s  “It Would Be You”, and songs by Suzy Boggus, Alan Jackson, Clay Walker and various other artists.
