ALIYAH GOOD

Aliyah Good was born in Nashville, TN, raised on the road and on the stage. She started singing at 3 years of age performing with her parents at fairs and festivals across the US. Now 20 years old, Aliyah has been writing her own music for 7 years. Her music infuses sounds of pop-country-alternative-indie.

When I started writing and performing my own songs,” says Aliyah, “it just felt so natural. Writing down my feelings and laying it all out there for the world to hear, it’s scary and thrilling at the same time. There’s just something so satisfying about making that connection with other people going through the same things that I am and saying yeah, we’re not alone in all of this and life can be hard”. In October of 2022, Good released her first song to all streaming platforms and the video debuted on CMT. Aliyah was invited to join the esteemed Song Suffragettes at the Listening Room and plays songwriter shows regularly in Nashville at Ole Red, Tin Roof, True Music Room, and returned to play Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles in June. The highlight of 2020 for Aliyah was playing the famed Bitter End in NYC and this year playing Sofar Sounds shows in Atlanta, and Breaking Miami.

Aliyah returns to Denmark this Sept as part of the Nashville Nights Festival where one critic for daffy.dk magazine said “It is 19-year-old Aliyah Good who takes the fuse on me and apparently the rest of the guests in the tent. She lives up to her last name. In fact, she vocally resembles a young Adele, which makes many American musicians in the tent drop their jaws.”

Good has been featured in a Feed the Children infomercial, an extra in the movie Country Strong, co- hosted a Mother’s Day special with her Mom Jamie O’Neal for GAC and was in the top 5 music video on CMT for Somebody’s Hero which she recorded as a duet with her Mom in 2020. Look for Aliyah’s 7 song EP out this fall.
