The Blue Anchor Belles are a singing trio of military spouses from all over the US that are currently stationed in the Pensacola area. They travel the emerald coast bringing 40’s/ 50’s favorites to veterans and their families in unique vintage three part harmonies.
After High School, Justin joined the military, serving in both the Air Force and Army for a total of 12 years with deployments to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. During his time in the military, he learned how to play the drums, and played in various bands to include a church band in Afghanistan. In 2011, Justin was forced to medically retire from the Military due to injuries obtained from his Military service, which eventually led to amputation of his right foot in 2016. That’s how the nickname “Peg” came about! It wasn’t until he picked up a guitar in 2018 that Justin found that purpose and peace he’d been looking so hard for. Since 2018, “Peg” has penned over 50 original songs that are craftily written with much intent to feel the exact pain he experienced. He has also been a part of many co-writes with incredible songwriters from all over! You can find “Peg” telling his story through lyrics and melody anywhere from Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and more.

There are no strangers here— only friends you haven’t met yet. This is Katie’s chorus, both in her song Stranger in a Strange Land and in her life.
Katie Dineen is a singer-songwriter based out of Pensacola, Florida. Playing music has always been a part of Katie’s life, first learning classical piano as a child before picking up guitar and veering towards folk and indie-rock music as a teenager.
Songwriting is not only a personal endeavour for Katie but also a communal one. She founded and hosts the Pensacola Songwriter Rounds, a monthly show series in which she and three other songwriters share their original songs in a listening room. Her intention with the show series is to help cultivate the Pensacola songwriter scene by providing a stage for songwriters to share their music, be mutually inspired, and collaborate with one another.
This One’s For You, Katie’s debut ten-track album, comes out August 2nd, 2024. A mix of full band and stripped-down acoustic songs, This One’s for You is a labor of love that’s taken years to release, with songs in the album ranging in emotion and content. Invisible Strings, the first single from the album released November 2023, explores the idea of connecting to all the parts of yourself— your inner child and your inner sage— and asking yourself, “What am I dreaming of?“ All the Little Things, the second single released, was Katie’s front porch, early morning stream-of-consciousness musings on an Alice Walker quote, as well as observances of the morning. Other songs in the EP explore feelings of heartbreak, healing, falling in love, friendship, and a deep reverence for nature.
This One’s For You is gratitude disguised as an EP: a big ol’ thank you to everyone who has supported Katie on the journey of being a songwriter and a musician.

Richard Thomas Uzdevenes aka Saltwater Rick, born February 27,1960 in Madrid Spain. A Navy brat moved to Gulf Breeze Fla at the age of 3. Grew up listening to the A.M. Radio and playing air guitar and singing everything poorly. Mom was a piano player and tried to teach the kids to play, but I was to wild to sit and learn much at one time. I started writing my own stuff at fifteen when a teacher told me what a great job I did on a paper I wrote on Santa Rosa Island. Late songs from my catalog came from life’s treasures or pains and when I was working for American Airlines as a mechanic in Tulsa Ok. I had the blues so bad being away from home that I wrote Saltwater Blues. I started performing it on the island at the open Mics at The Sun Ray Taco Shop the other players with the name Saltwater Rick. I have 49 songs written in the library of congress under Saltwater Rick volume 1 and have a notebook full for vol 2. Looking forward to PBSF 2023. Come on down to the Deep South and breath in the Saltwater-air and take ride on the Gulfside.

I’m Butch Salter, from Burnt Corn, Alabama. I was born a long time ago. When I was fifty, I bought a guitar for $50. I beat on it for a couple of years, trying to teach myself how to play until I bout drove myself crazy. I played it regularly for 22 years and learned to play a few songs. Even wrote a couple songs and a few poems.
I met Jim and Reneda Pasquale about 10 years ago. Jim called me one day and asked me over to help him on a song. We tried for a few minutes and didn’t get anywhere. We talked about a fellow from Monroeville, then I said something like” I don’t care if he don’t like me”, Jim said “I don’t care if he does” …Jim says, hey that’s a song and wrote it down. In 15 minutes, we had the chorus and in a couple weeks, we had the verses. That’s how song writing goes, it just kinda sneaks up on you, and you have to catch it while it’s lurking around or it’s gone forever. Jim taught me enough to get to a place where I could enjoy writing and playing music. Jim was my hunting partner and one of my best friends ever.
“If my music career were like a baseball game, I struck out twice, then finally got a ‘bunt’ and made it to first base. I’ve never hit a home run, but at least I haven’t fouled out.”

Trucking cross country for over 45 years, and over 4 million miles, owner/operator Nathan Robinson has had plenty of long days and nights to think about his life and how to put much of it into song. Growing up in Hank Williams’ country and performing at an early age with Hank’s cousins, he knew this was what he wanted to do. But life happened, and bills had to be paid, so music had to wait. In 2017, Nathan and his son Fletcher built their own studio, Evergreen Records, and began recording his songs. and released his 1st album, Whiskey and Women, in 2019, and is currently working on another. He has attended workshops with Bill Anderson, Jan Howard, and other Nashville #1 hit songwriters, and has co-written with several, also. From country, gospel, blues, to ballads and comedy, you’ll enjoy his music. Check out his YouTube channel, Nathan Robinson Music and Entertainment. Nathan has performed from the Gulf Coast to Nashville and all points in between, playing for festivals, benefits, and churches. He’s proud to be part of the PBSF family!
