This is another exciting year in the life of quickly rising and emerging country artist Pearl Clarkin. You can find her playing in Nashville on any given night or around the country at large events. She is also an acclaimed songwriter and on the circuit just look for her at Bluebird, Commodore, Listening Room or any of the local spots for originals and showcases. She was recently compared to Bobbie Gentry by a major publisher while singing at Bluebird Cafe. Pearl has opened for many large artists, and performed at the CMA Fest for the last 4 years at places like Storme Warren's Nashville Navy and on the CMA Hard Rock Stage outdoors. Pearl headlined her own concert back home on Pensacola Beach before 4000 friends and fans and sings each year for the Pensacola Beach Songwriter's Festival as well as others. You've seen her on GAC TV in Storme Warren's Country on the Beach Key West Event with Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, and Darryl Worley. She also played at the World's largest Music Festival in Milwaukee at Summerfest as well as Bike Fest Daytona Beach. There is so much going on for Pearl, we certainly can't list it here but NASHVILLE HAS GONE CRAZY OVER HER !!! She has already been named one of the top unsigned artists in the country by CMT by placing in their Music City Madness singer/songwriter contest. In the industry and music competition world Pearl is considered a triple threat. She sings with an ethereal voice that has been called "enchanting" "angelic" and yet "sultry". She writes and is a spellbinding entertainer. The crowds love getting to know her! She just recorded her first EP and is being shopped to the major record labels. Pearl has been songwriting since the age of 12 when she wrote her first song with Macy Gray at an American Idol camp. She successfully entered the singer/songwriter world at the age of 14 started singing in Nashville to pursue her craft. In real life she is a full time Songwriting Major at Belmont University and she goes home to her tiny island on the Gulf of Mexico that she loves so much every chance she gets. Many of her songs are about the beach and Florida life like her signature song Alligator Walkin. Pearl is no doubt going to grow into one of the most beautiful country music stars the world has ever seen. Hold on to your hats, join her, its going to be an incredible ride!!
