Having been raised by Navy and music-loving parents, Dennis lived and breathed the music of his youth from the radio, 45’s and albums. The sixties found him in London with a Silvertone electric guitar as the Beatles reached their creative peek and the whole London scene was exploding with fantastic music. After moving from London to New Orleans, he gravitated into the world of acoustic guitars and harmonica. Pensacola became his home in 1971 where he began playing professionally in a number of popular bands like “Wildwood”, “Café Racer”, “RPM”, and “The Cadillacs”. He pursued the craft of songwriting with passion, and performed one of his original songs at the Opry on the “Star Search” television show. Dennis met acclaimed Songwriter/Publisher, Dennis Morgan, and was invited to Nashville to record a CD of his own songs. Produced by Morgan, the CD is entitled “GO.” He has performed for many of the annual “Frank Brown International Songwriters Festivals”, the “Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festivals and at Nashvilles’ “Bluebird.” He is a multi-instrumentalist playing the harmonica, guitars and bass. He is now playing in several excellent duos with Ricky Lee Phelps (former lead singer and writer for The Kentucky Headhunters).
